After last years very successful premier, it’s once again time for the MotoX AMATEUR MASTER S on the 23./24. August 2008 : The best Riders from all 19 German Amateur MX Racing Series will once again compete against each other. This time the Event is at the well know MX Circuit at the MCC Schenkenhorst e.V. on the South West side of Berlin.
With the Circuit in Schenkenhorst, the Riders of the 2. MotoX AMATEUR MASTERS can expect one of the best MotoX locations in Germany. The spectators must be prepared to see spectacular racing on the very wide circuit, which offers a 2016 m long coarse with its 15 different jumps and very deep sandy passages. Rounded off with a very good infra structure, this is for sure an ideal venue for the 2. MotoX AMATEUR MASTERS.
As Title holders in the Team Evaluation, the Riders of the MX Series Sachsens can be seen in Schenkenhorst as they go into action in the lower starting numbers 1 - 6 in the 2. MotoX AMATEUR MASTERS, this because of their sovereign win against the DAMCV and the DJMV teams last year.
Next to last years proven MX1, MX2 and Junior Classes, there is another new improvement, just as the 2008 it will also take place as a pure Two-stroke Open Class, however it doesn’t count for the Team Evaluation. Therefore each of the 19 Series has the chance to nominate 2 extra Riders who can start on a machine of their choice from 125 - 500 ccm. In a sport that is dominated by the Four-strokes, it’s about time and a must for all Two-stroke fans – we are excited to see how this idea will come across.
Also the supporting programme will be enlarged, because the Schenkenhorster Club President is none other than the well know Freestyle Icon Sebastian „Busty“ Wolter, who will be on the grounds with his Upforce Crew to give a top European FMX show during both days of the Event. Busty is really looking forward to it: „The MotoX AMATEUR MASTERS is effectively the Motocross of the Nation for the Amateur Moto-crossers, a better Event on a National level like this will be hard to find. That is why we are so proud that the 2. MotoX AMATEUR MASTERS is organised at the Schenkenhorst circuit this year.

Idea: The question at the 19 regional MX Amateur Racing Series in Germany is, how big is the difference in talent between the various Associations and which Rider will stand out and be commended for his tasks among the National Amateur competitors. The reason why we have the MotoX Amateur Masters over the last few years is to find the best Amateur and the strongest Series. The Sachsen Team are last years Title holders in the Team Evaluation category.
Competitors: 152 Riders from 19 Racing Series – the 2 best placed in the Class MX1, MX2, 85/Juniors, as well as 2 wildcard Two-stroke Riders.
Catagories:
- Juniors: 85 ccm 2T/150 ccm 4T
- MX2: 125-144 ccm 2T/250 ccm 4T, up until 25 years of age.
- MX1: 250 ccm 2T/450 ccm 4T
- Two-stroke: 125-500 ccm 2T
Modus: Judging for all categories, Super Finals for the best 15 MX2 and MX1 Riders, preliminary for a „Super Pole“, Hole Shot Awards, drawing up the Team Evaluations taken from the various evaluation races, independent Two-Stroke Class – doesn’t count for the Team Evaluation.
Prize: Trophy and material prizes worth of over 10.000,- Euro
Framework Programme: Exhibition area for the Sponsors and Regional businesses, Open Air Party on Saturday night with different live Rock Bands, Upforce Freestyle Moto-cross Show with, for example, Busty Wolter and Fab Bauersachs on Saturday night and Sunday lunch time, music from DJ´s at all events and Mini-bike show jumping courses for the spectators to test ride.
